Invention: Introducing Slimger!

The Slimger is an invention that is hailed ‘the world’s slimmest charger’. This invention is eye catching because it serves as a power bank for both iPhone and Android users. However, the Slimger’s point of differentiation is that it will fit into one’s wallet and it comes with a built-in micro USB cable.

The Features of the Slimger Invention

The Slimger is able to provide the user on-the-go power which removes the frustration of having to find an outlet quickly or worse, having your cellphone die. It has the capability to provide an extra:

– 5 hours of talking

– 4 hours of internet usage

– 95 hours of standby time

The Specifications of the Slimger

This ultra slim charger specifications are the following:

– The availability of five colours- Black, Sliver, Gold, Blue, Pink

– It measures at 92mm x 66mm x 4.8 mm- being able to fit in a standard size wallet

– It is made from aluminum and it weighs in at 54 grams

– The time is takes to fully charge the Slimger: 70 minutes

Slimger’s Indiegogo Campaign

The Slimger began its journey in September of 2013 and it is prepared to start shipping and delivery on December of 2014. This invention utilized Indiegogo to raise funds in order to make this idea plausible. The Slimger launched their campaign on October 14, 2014 and as of today they have exceeded their goals of $10,000 with 32 days left. The funds for the Slimger will mostly go towards the production of the invention, as well for the design, legal fees, mold fabrication, and shipping and handling.
