The ID Guild Hosts Event at Longhorns vs. Aggies Sold-Out Game

In partnership with the global CAD software giant AutoDesk, MAKO Design + Invent hosted another social event to bring together local designers, manufacturers, consultants, IP attorneys, and industrial design firms. Known as the Industrial Design Guild, our goal is to bring thought leaders together to promote and progress the industrial design industry.

Texas Longhorns battled it out against the Texas A&M Aggies on the historic stadium Baseball field. With a beautiful private section along the first base side, our industrial design firm hosted a-list players of the design community to chat the latest

and greatest in ID news. The ice-cold beers and classic baseball fare were also perfect for the hot, Texan afternoon in the legendary stadium.

Several of the community’s thought leaders joined us to talk shop and take in one of America’s oldest pastimes. With over 60 designers, consultants and thought leaders in attendance, including designers from Dell, National Instruments, and Yeti, we were certainly in great company. Several startup design firms, as well as consultants and Austin city counsellors, joined us. For any industrial designer or enthusiast, this was the place to be!

Our Industrial Design Firm’s  Partnership with Autodesk

As our partner on these community initiatives, AutoDesk also proudly demonstrated their new software Fusion 360. This is the very software all of our designers use to create the products we bring to life every day.
