At our design firm MAKO Design + Invent, it’s always great to see recognition for pioneers our industry. Today, Google showcased renowned industrial designer Raymond Loewy. He was a proficient inventor across many industries including Railway, Automobile, Window Displays, Aircaft, and more. His most noteworthy industrial design work is likely for his development on various 1930s to 1960s Studebaker cars, and Pennsylvania Railroad passenger locomotives. Much of Raymond’s work will hopefully be seen soon in the Raymond Loewy Museum of Industrial Design, which is currently undergoing fundraising.
