Passion is a key trait that is embedded in the core beliefs and vision of MAKO. We’re passionate about fostering growth in the entrepreneurial society by working with clients and partners that come from diverse industry backgrounds. We understand that innovation creation is limitless with no boundaries, inspiring us to explore all the different avenues in product design. At MAKO, being an inventor and exploring the big “what if” involves a lot of risk-taking, but in the end it’s rewarding to know that you ‘re following the dreams that you’re most passionate about.
Here are MAKO’s Top 3 Tips and Tricks for Exploring the What If:
- You never want to live life with regrets.
It’s important for any investor or entrepreneur to not have to wonder what would have happened if they had followed their desired opportunity and innovation creations. Instead of thinking about it, go out there and make it happen!
- You’ll never know until you try.
You can’t be the CEO of your own company until you actually take the chance to start the company. Don’t let the fear of what could happen, make nothing happen.
- All great ideas are meant to be shared.
At MAKO, meeting clients means listening to their stories and learning about the problems they want to solve with their ideas, and what needs their ideas want to fulfill. If you discover a problem that needs immediate attention and there isn’t already a solution to it, then it is an idea worth investing in. Chances are there are many other individuals out there who also want a solution for the same issue.
Create and Innovate Competition:
To encourage individuals to explore the “what if,” MAKO is running the Create and Innovate competition for both aspiring and existing entrepreneurs, and inventors to submit their best ideas for innovation creation. The competition requires a brief description of the product including what it is, any technical specifications or features, a description of the design, and the target market for that product. We are taking applicants from across North America! We will start accepting the applications from February 15, 2016 and close the submission period on March 14th, 2016. The winner will be notified via email, and the final decision will take place on the first week of April. The name of the winner(s) will be announced on our monthly newsletter and social media platforms. A reward of $2,000 worth in kind services will be provided from MAKO to the winner. As a guarantee that your product ideas and innovation creations will be protected, we ask that you sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that will also be signed by us.
