This year we entered Creativepool’s, The Creative Industry’s “Most” Awards. Our Top Product Design Services Made the 2019 Shortlist

The winners will be selected under the most distributed, most voted, most shared, most collaborative and most useful. The categories in which to enter range from all sorts of creative abilities, from graphic design to music composition, and photography to 3D. MAKO’s top product design services were recognized with our entry of our clients GoFish Cam under the Product/Industrial category. It’s a wireless underwater camera that sits on your fishing line and works with a mobile app.

The initial idea for this invention was sparked while sailing on a catamaran on the Carribean Sea. Inventor Ryan Austin was traveling with friends watching as the locals were fishing off the back of the catamaran he was on. As a passionate angler, he couldn’t help but watch in anticipation. The locals had a huge bite and everyone jumped up from their seats. To their dismay, the fish was stronger than expected and freed himself from the hook. Everyone began debating what kind of fish it was, how big it was, and if they should turn back to try catching it again. Ryan’s inventor intuition sparked inside him and the GoFish Cam was born. Ryan thought “well what if they could see underwater using technology?”

Now, fishing enthusiasts can capture action-packed footage, gain insight into the underwater fishing experience, and review and share awesome video content on social media. MAKO is ready to step up our game and have a prosperous 2019 just like we did at last year’s 2018 Creativepool Awards where we were honored with Silver, for our client’s product Moonlite.
