How Our Rapid Prototyping Company is Still Remaining Operational
As a rapid prototyping company grounded in embracing innovation, we understand how important it is to face any challenges head-on and find new and innovative ways to overcome any obstacle.
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, MAKO Design + Invent has been investing in a variety of initiatives to help our community, clients, and team overcome these unprecedented times.
Thus, to keep our clients and team safe, we’ve closed our offices and shifted to being fully operational while our team primarily works from home.
With new obstacles comes more opportunity for MAKO as a rapid prototyping company to continue to pursue our passion for designing and helping to invent projects.
As such, our team has integrated new, efficient, and safe methods to improve our workflow to ensure that we are still completing projects and prototyping better than ever.
Not only have we successfully maintained being completely operational, but we still thrive in completing, progressing, and taking on new projects.
Keep reading below to learn more about how we are still prototyping and using increased organizational methods as well as improved communications to stay as efficient as ever!
Can MAKO Still Make Prototypes?
Over the course of the past few months, our rapid prototyping company, MAKO Design + Invent, has learned a lot about how to improve into a more efficient workflow that allows us to remain fully operational and work on prototypes.
Therefore, yes! We are still able to make prototypes and get the important parts you need for your project.
Since our team has been working at home, we have been completing and working on prototypes through increasing our communications and organization, not only from within our team but also with our vendors.
This increase in communications and organization allows us to stay on track and get the right parts we need for any prototypes or projects.
No matter where the vendors or parts come from, we ensure to stay up to date on tracking information, so we can receive them as soon as possible. We also stay organized with deliverables and communicate new updates and the status of our projects to our clients as soon as possible.
Because MAKO Design + Invent is a rapid prototyping company comprised of a team of talented designers from different spectrums of the design field (mechanical design, electrical design, etc.), completing the assembly of each prototype is another area where we’ve upped our team communications to help ensure both the completion of our prototypes while maintaining the safety of our team.
Thus, the design team at MAKO is now running on a more organized schedule in which we prioritize what specific design work needs to be given priority on each project.
This means that once one aspect of a prototype has been completed by one of our designers or engineers, it is then carefully passed on to the next designer or engineer to complete their part until the whole prototype is completely and fully finished.
For example, after we receive a prototype part, such as a PCB, the priority will be first given to our electrical engineers and designers. Then, the next step would be to pass the prototype on to our mechanical designers and engineers to complete housing for the PCB, and so on.
As a rapid prototyping company, prototyping to the best degree is our main goal and promise to our clients, even while we ensure the proper safety measures to keep our team as healthy and safe as possible!
Rest assured that our efforts to increase organization and communication are a key factor impacting our ability to get prototypes made just as efficiently as ever.
